Great Gathering – Canoe The Mississippi River

Family Canoe Trip on the Mississippi River! No paddling experience or equipment required. This
trip requires two adults to participate. You may bring one or two kids (ages 5 and up). We will
start at the beach just downstream of the Lake Street Bridge, where you can leave your car in the
parking lot. We will paddle past wetlands, woodlands, caves, and through the locks at the Ford
Dam. We will end with a picnic at Hidden Falls Park (while we shuttle 1 parent back to retrieve
your car).
