Read-a-Thon 2019!
The Horace Mann School Read-a-Thon is right around the corner! The purpose of the Read-a-Thon is to encourage students to develop good reading habits early in the school year and raise money for PTA-supported activities that benefit the entire Horace Mann School community. Look for a Read-a-Thon packet in your student’s take-home folder next Friday, Sept. 27. During the Read-a-Thon, Sept 30 – Oct 27, students track minutes read outside school and may seek pledge donations on behalf of the Horace Mann School PTA. Pledges will be returned to school the week of Oct 28.
Read-a-Thon is made easier with a little help from our school community! We need a handful of volunteers to stuff packets and hang posters at school the evening of Thursday, Sept. 26.
